In 100 grams of dates contains: 20.0 grams of water, 2.5 grams of proteins, 0.5 grams of fat, 69.2 grams of carbohydrates, 0.1 grams of unsaturated fatty acids, 69.2 grams of mono- and disaccharides, 6.0 g of food fibers, 0,3 g of organic acids, 1,5 g of ash. In addition, vitamins (B, – 0.05 mg, B2 – 0.05 mg, B3 – 0.8 mg, B6 – 0.1 mg, C – 0.3 mg, PP – 0.8 mg) and trace elements (iron 1.5 mg, potassium-370.0 mg, calcium – 65.0 mg, magnesium – 69.0 mg, sodium – 32.0 mg, phosphorus -56.0 mg).
